Thai Woman Found Alive After Knocking From Inside Coffin Moments Before Cremation

A 65-year-old woman in Thailand shocked temple staff when she began moving inside her coffin just moments before cremation. Her family had believed she died after becoming unresponsive at home, prompting her brother to place her in a coffin and drive 500 kilometres toward a Bangkok hospital where she wished to donate her organs. Without a death certificate, the hospital and a temple refused to accept her. While staff explained how to obtain the document, they heard knocking from the coffin. She was found alive, diagnosed with severe hypoglycaemia, and taken to a nearby hospital.
