Police have informed Mrs. Shiranthi Rajapaksa, wife of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, to appear before the Police Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) on October 13.
She, who had been abroad for over three weeks, returned to the island last night (05). Mrs. Shiranthi Rajapaksa, who was in Singapore, traveled by land to Malaysia from there, and then arrived at Katunayake Bandaranaike International Airport from Kuala Lumpur on a Malaysian Airlines flight.
